Features Gary Essex on slide guitar and is but an instrumental of the full song that is Blues Blues - please check it out and love it as though it were your own...
Please note that this particular version is dedicated to the wonderfully talented…

This is well-assembled. The production is fantastic, as are the vocals. I like the atmospheric background sounds - it takes it up to the next level, IMHO.
hey al, its ur sister in law and mother in law, just listening to ur music and we really like it, mums bopping away as we speak, she spcially likes the light...catch ya laterz x
Didn't really work. Kind of lost the essence of the song by going a bit bonkers on effects and what not.
Will return to this (but a lot more simplified) in the future.. comments welcome!
I'd go back to your demo version, I really liked that. I don't like the strings in this version, and I think the melody is strong enough to survive without the extra effects.

This is a song inspired by the town i grew up in, and where I still live. Its a nod to the comfort I've enjoyed from being surrounded by the mountains of the Caerphilly basin. The verse lyrics acknowledge how little we tend to go to the places…

has anybody ever really felt complimented by a drunk? its like your words mean nothing/ and you have so many of them/ do you ever ask yourself/ why do i go on/ everything i eat tastes like sand/ theres butter in my underwear/ i had a dream there…
This song was written about one man's journey through the psychedelic wilderness that is the barren runescape which is the Badlands.
During this piece, imagine that you have landed on Mars, and that you are given free access to the Mars Rover…
This is my first effort with real bongos. I've been so inspired by Norm's talents, that I had to give it a try. I borrowed a set of bongos from my brother Asa.

I had to play 18 holes of golf to get my hands…
loved the verse melodies on both this and the first one. like the sound of the vocals too - nice dark feel to the whole thing. It's like the good bits of QOTSA
Simple little song. My view on how love really falls apart. Last verse is in my opinion an add-on. I wrote it after the rest, at the behest of someone who thought it was too "un-hopeful". It may have been a goood thing.
Derivative- This one was not supposed to be on the album, but I changed my mind and worked on it. The reason for the intended omission was because the riff, which I have been playing with for a few months, just sounded so derivative of Dear Prudence…
Summer Grass- I didn’t originally intend for this to be the title track, but since most, though not all, of the songs on this album sound like summer to me, I decided, why not? The guitar even sounds humid and warm, but in that nice July way…
Figure Out- There are about 4-5 takes of this song, all different. The song started off in the key of D, but I couldn’t hit the notes in the chorus. I then tried it in A, but it was lacking drive and energy. I tried it in G, but I couldn’t get…
Again i'd love some feedback
I like the feel and the mix
do the lyrics work?
recorded t'night in an hour after trying all day to get the verse lyrics rammed into another tune
We move miles away from Bristol trip-hop and take a trip to Paris. This Daft Punk-inspire piece really allowed me to lighten up a bit during the lonely production stages.
Paper Girls is one of those tracks which I wrote based on my experiences that I hope others can relate to in their own way. Soft, breathy vocals courtesy of Anezka Piska.

For those of the non-glitch persuasion...
It is NOT throwaway.

I really like this. DL'd AND faved, which is rare for me to do. This has great atmosphere and some nice subtle psychedelia.

Super Al! I want to sing along to it! See you at Glasto in the summer maybe!??!

intriguing music, and the way the lyrics flow so nicely and are sung, reminds me a bit of Supertramp. Great guitar & drum work on this.
love it.
This utterly rocks, Alex! So many layers to it, catchy as Hell, and a cracking vocal! Love it!
This is excellent!
