The theme for Improv Friday this week is "variations". So here's an improv reconstruction of the one classical piece I know, Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring.
A tune by my friend Darrin Kobetich, I added some electric guitar. Check out Darrin's stuff, available in all the usual places.

first my apologies to J. Pachabell
second, my very best wishes to all my AT friends who make sharing music here so wonderful,, hope your holiday season is most wonderful and filled with love, peace to us all r
I'm a teacher, a parent of elementary school children, a mental health advocate, and a pacifist. It's been a rough week... But there's still time.
TIME
Time to look in the mirror
Time to say what we believe
Is this the world we want…
This is really a true story.
No, really...
And our holiday gift to you & your friends. (Feel free to download it and share it with anyone who you think might enjoy it.)
Oh... by the way... acl is finally waking from a very deep slumber…
Since you've all been such good boys and girls this year, I decided I should give you all a present. Here is a song written by yours, truly, and sung by the incredible Inge Meijer. I can't say enough about what an great job she did on the song…
from the symphonic poem "Trials & Tribulations"
featuring Andrea Szirbik & Damian Lethbridge on vocals and Brent Nolan on Solo Guitar
part 2
I’m floating, closer to the sun
I’m going home
drenched from the rain and I’m chilled to…
