......... and I love the sound of your acoustic, really recorded well........as Reg says, keep the steam flowing.........I am just getting myself set up again after a long year with out too much recording. Trying to get my stream flowing again too.

Hey, thanks Reg. I'll try to keep it open... I recently moved all my music/recording gear from my cramped bedroom to my son's old room now that he's at university. This was the first 1/2 way decent thing I recorded since I set up in here. I'm gonna try to keep things rolling so I'll be warmed up for RPM 2013! :-) Peace.

All first take improvisations. 8 tracks of madness for your enjoyment. Ear goggles will put you inside this piece. Not recommended for the faint of heart!

Apparently I'm a recent listener to this - I don't remember!!
I'm sure I would've remembered this. Lovely sound. Those keys are fabulous. I just shut my eyes and let it roll.
I love how he was so into it that he kept playing bass and keys even after the track had finished. And a cool touch to leave it on.
Nice work guys.

My friend Otis Maly on the bass guitar and keys. Another RPM 2012 demo that was laid down before the focus shifted completely to improvisational sound-fields.

Hey thanks for sharing your music! I didn't comment on every track, but I listened to the whole thing as I was working around the house. Nice range of material -- I definitely enjoyed it!

Wow, great anthemic album closer!! Top notch! Your music is an excellent addition to the alonetone community, thanks for sharing. I hope you will consider uploading your older music too. Peace, Michael
Great album!! All songs are top-notch & radio ready, but this one is my favorite of the batch... reminiscent of some of my favorite Americana tunes. Great hook, great harmonies!
"never quite as perfect as I'd like it to be"
yeah, I know exactly what you mean, but this record of yours was a really fun listen. I'm off to check out other new RPM releases, but I'll be back to check out more of your back catalog. Thanks for sharing!
I've been listening to this album as I've been cleaning up around the house & making lunch. A lot of neat ideas on this album! I like the loud messy bits as much as some of the other directions you go in -- so far, this is one of my favorites.
Jarrett, this is such an amazingly good record, it's another one of those RPMs that I have a hard time believing it was written and recorded in four weeks. Your songwriting, singing, playing and recording are all at a pro level. I mean, I would not be surprised to hear any one of these tunes on the radio. Just excellent.
In fact, I feel awkward about criticizing this record in any way as you are a much more talented musician than I could ever hope to be, but I do have one critique: the only thing I would change is the overall loudness. With the exception of "Echoes of Waves," I had to turn this record way down because the loud parts were actually painful to listen to. Not in a sheer volume sort of way, but in a makes my ears work way too hard sort of way. I'm assuming this is something that happened in the mastering process.
It's just that having to turn my listening volume down so low pretty much kills the excellent dynamics you have written into these tunes. I hope you don't take offense at these comments, because I truly am blown away at the talent on display here -- just my 2 cents on how you could actually improve upon something that is already so impressive.
Thanks for sharing these songs with us!

FOUND IN THE MOVEMENT
She moves in a spinning reminder
A violent link to the past
Don't you dare try to define her
She might not be big, but she's fast
A release of God-given aggression
An arm near her head in defense
Somewhere just short…
Great album Keith, I really feel your sequencing of the songs created a great build. And this last track proves you don't need to collab to make excellent music (but then, we knew that already).
Andy Samford kicking ass on guitar, Brian Martin on bass, and Jim Garn (MTC) on drums... A song that was assembled bass-ackwards.

I listened to this album last night three or four times in a row... back this morning for more. I admit I am just getting started with checking out all the 2013 RPM entries, but so far this is far and away my favorite. This will be downloaded and burned to disc before the end of the day -- as always, thanks for sharing!!

Boy, I can identify with this one from days gone by.... but while these days are a little less "exciting" I do tend to get where I'm going much quicker. ;-) Great tune JMT, keep 'em coming!
This was an RPM track back in the day, and I've been playing it various ways to find a setting for it within the band repertoire. This doesn't sound much like our band would do it but it came out nicely, so i thought i'd share it.
Excellent album, but of course you all know that already! It's hard to imagine anyone writing and recording such a great record in such a short period, but once again you have pulled it off -- I especially liked the second half of the album. This will get many more plays around here!

This is good man, real good. This is exactly what I needed to hear right now, at this moment. Very good.
Like the fading trem FX on guitar, great compliment to the ambiance of your vox

The writing reminds me of classic Elton John -- I really like the blend of instruments on this track.

Very nice, laid back RPM 2013. Such a subtle album, I have the feeling this album will reward repeated listening. Thanks for sharing!
Nice one, Brett! I don't know how you come up with some of this stuff, but don't ever stop!!
Classic Bee!! This one has a smile plastered on my face, for sure. Thanks for sharing this Geas.

Just a great vibe, and comes at a perfect time in the course of this album -- a neat little "surprise play" if you will....
This one is just superb, Keith! You really made the most of your RPM with all these first-class collabs!
Yup, still awesome! :-)
