Lyrics
Cry of Love
Cry of love, heard in the meadow
Watching the wind blow
With love in the air
Cry of love, answered by another
Who courts the same lovers
With sounds of despair
Cry of love, heard in the daylight
Still crying…
Lyrics:
Crazy people, wander round all night
Looking toward the Heavens
At little specs of light
Dragging round their telescopes
And Binoculars
All the tools they need to gaze among the stars
Crazy people, look at what they do…
Lyrics:
Crazy people, wander round all night
Looking toward the Heavens
At little specs of light
Dragging round their telescopes
And Binoculars
All the tools they need to gaze among the stars
Crazy people, look at what they do…
Written for a song challenge to bring awareness to the flooding this past Spring in Australia.
The song was required to have the phrase "water is rising".
Lyrics:
Crazy people, wander round all night
Looking toward the Heavens
At little specs of light
Dragging round their telescopes
And Binoculars
All the tools they need to gaze among the stars
Crazy people, look at what they do…
When you look up at the night sky from where you live does the milky way burn bright. Clusters of stars glowing from time that passed us by. Are there certain crisp, clear, windless nights, the moon hanging on the dark side and every star seemed just a little brighter then before. As far as you could see there was shimmering light flickering from the faintest and most distant stars. I try to imagine what the night sky would have looked like 30,000 years ago or a million years. How much more did stars shine before we were here. Before electricity people probably paid more attention to the night skies
Cool song Greg. I never had a convertible Mustang but had a blue 1967 2 door. I had it for over 10 years and it was a neat car, but like most cars of that era began to cost big bucks to keep it running like it should, to say nothing of rust. I sold it to a teenager who did some body and engine work and I'd see it around town once in awhile. Never had had the itch for a convertible, but hey, have fun!

One of my offspring is a keen astronomer, with a huge telescope. She is also extremely knowledgeable
on the subject. Don't know about your title there, but absolutely love the song and the music is gorgeous.

Growing up in Ohio we used to see the signs the hoboes left on trees and mailboxes. Bits of ribbons and cloth-signifying friendly,and-cold hearted bastards who'd sic the dogs on you.
a new song I'm working on ... recorded on an iphone ... lyrics below ... enjoy (or cry your eyes out ...) ... love to hear what you think.
It's been a year, four months and a day
Since that time you slipped away
Disappeared right out of…
I'm amazed you recorded this on an iphone. It's very good quality for that.
Your guitar sound great, the lyrics tell a sad story, but are delivered well.
I thought I was going to have us record a cleaner version of this - this is a live take from a Christmas service. I wrote a song to tag along after the end of one my favorite songs ever, The Star Carol. Today's endless streaming of snow, still…
This year will be my fifth year coaching one of my daughters in tee ball, and although I played ball competitively into my thirties, coaching the kids is easily the most fun I've ever had on the diamond.

Had to really push the good wife sing this one. After a couple of years of serious health scares she had lost all confidence in herself. Glad I did my 'Phil Spector' trick on her. ( No gun involved !! )
This song was written on guitar by Kari Eskola from Finland. He sent me his guitar track along with this fantastic vocal recording by Emmi Inkeri asking me to replace the guitar with a piano accompaniment.
I tried my best, knowing that I'm not…
I promised you the world again
Everything within my hands
All the riches one could dream
They will come from me
I hoped that you could understand
That this is not what I had planned
Please don’t worry now
It will turn around
Cause I need more…
Ok lets get some oldies out, this and the next two tracks was recorded on my old recording studio machine. Ah, the good old days, rose tinted glasses of course !!! Or is it just me ......
I was thumbing a ride along a hot, deserted Caribbean road. When Steve pulled up in this vintage pre-war Chevy, I was very grateful. It just so happened he was heading to the same cantina I was, so we kicked back with a pitcher of mojitos…
After the tragic events of the last few days, I felt compelled to upload an old song I wrote in 2007.Tragically a young Soldier girl was killed in action in Iraq. She was just 19 years of age. I had to have a rant !!! I apologize in advance if…

Dang you, Greg. Now I have a strong desire to stuff that cheap shrieking plywood reso of mine in the woodstove and get one that sounds like this!

My mom was an avid bird watcher. The clip of the cardinal finch reminded me of her... it was her favorite of favorite birds.
