Full moon, full of mystery
Full moon, shadows thru the trees
I can feel your spell, I’m beggin at you please
So long I been straight and true
No wrong has come into view
I can feel that dark side, all because of you
Way down…

I had fun singing this at the open mic this past week.

Singin' the blues! I think the first 2 lines are the same as "Blue Night", but then it goes off into it's own realm. There's nothing like a reso for the blues. One of these days I should pick up a decent one. BTW - resophonic/dobro with slide is getting really popular here. There was just a big festival going on down in Moscow recently.

This put a big smile on my face. The percussion is like nothing I've heard before in the Connor universe. That's a hip bass and drum combo, but the vocals and guitar are classic -- a mighty tasty fusion of styles. Very interesting, intriguing even. The blend of vocal tracks is particularly groovy. Some sweet picking there, bud! I'm taking this out for another spin!
Some time ago whilst YouTubing, I stumbled across several videos of old seafaring songs or sea "shanties". Unbelievably, that triggered some very ancient RAM of elementary school music classes wherein we were taught several of these songs. And…
I'm doing just Fine with Buck Erpestad. Check out Bucks music here:

Here is what Buck said he added:
"So I used the tremolophone (vibes) and tuba sounds in Garageband and played them on the keyboard."
A cover of the Laura Veirs song 'Jailhouse Fire', which originally appeared on her excellent album ' The Triumphs & Travails Of Orphan Mae'. I recorded this in 2008, around the time I started demoing songs for what became 'The Anxiety Bomb'.
A bit of nonsense maybe ?? Started off as an instrumental then these words popped out. Call me lazy if you must, but couldn't think of more !!!
C'est la vie !!!!
This is a Phil Keaggy tune. I swiped his original loop and then built my own thing on top of it. Might have been longer, but my volume swell effect keeps slipping out of sync with everything else. May work on it more at a later date
*"Did you miss that gravy train"*
I love it, although it is a little dark.
You might have to do the next song about puppies or daisies in the field to balance things out. Something with a 2/4 beat should do it.
Whatever wrong could come of mixing a pop-ish song with a bit of rap. I think it came off rather well, except for the fact that I can't rap to save my life. Oh lord, it was so pathetic!
I was passing by a darkened church this evening, as the wind danced through the trees, looking though the a window, i noticed a single candle lit, flickering on the alter step, casting a shadow within.. as i pressed an ear to the dusty glass…
Just musing about all the "can do" quotes I see on Facebook.
If I could play the fiddle, I’ll tell you what I’d do
I’d believe in what you say and I’d believe in you
But I can’t play the fiddle no matter how many I try

this is the new Remix by Art
First collaboration with Greg Connor for 2014!!
Greg's lyrics...he sent them to me along with his version and said I could do as I please...so I had my way with them and this is what came out.a little experimental…
LOVE IT !!!
I posted my version of "POP" for about 6 hours and took it down again. It just didn't "POP". This does!
Good one *Sweet Ronnie Cheesecake!*
Live piano, recorded with a touch of strings, no sequencing, its just my fingers, music made up on the fly. This is me just being creative, its how I "write" my music.

2nd track of flute is also played live over the piano.

Comments on Greg Connor's stuff
A master class in song writing and playing Greg
Lovin' that harp playin' Greg. Don't get much better. Just cool!
Another excellent mix and balance of voice and all the instruments.
Nice tune!
Sounds like Jim Morrison vocals and with the skill of Bob Dylan guitar and harmonica at the same time
We're all clucked up over this one!
Nice "stuff"

I'm with Ron on the swamp rock feel, and with Colleen about the movie soundtrack material. As always, without fail, a great job!
Oh yeah...nice funky groove!
Sweet!!!!!!! Is that you on the harmonica as well??? This one sounds like movie soundtrack material :-)
Eight to go please with deli mustard
Huh, full moon last nite , why do I think you wrote this this morning?
Good ear Ron! Yes, that's my old Dobro, built in 1973 tuned to open D and played with a slide.
you are on a roll now for the RPM Challenge... are you playing slide? sounds great ...almost like a Dobro...this has a really nice swamp rock feel!!
Very catchy tune. Added it to my collection.
Alright!! Jammin' tune Greg. Goes great with my morning coffee and cigarettes. Rise and shine :)
This has a really great feel and good grove... the challenge is yours!!!!...do it chorus sounds amazing...outstanding vocals as usual..

That's some nice banjo playing! You really brought that old song back to life.
Buck . . . You got me laughing. Very original contribution.
Great Song!
Plenty of fuel for a *"Power Nap"* here!
Ah .... A little bit of a Chuck Berry vibe. I wonder what's on your mind?
I like this lilting style! Your combined vocals are excellent and the tone of that guitar brings it over the top. Very enjoyable.
I like the whistling.
This stopped me in my tracks . . . absolutely beautiful.

Nice song, with interesting sounds complimenting it.
This is unbelievable. I think I got tears in my eyes!
Very Pretty James!
I love it !!!! Great Duet.

Very comforting to listen to.
Beautifully improvisation
It certainly would be fun to meet you some time. Every song is *Full Speed Ahead*
Nice jazz sounds. You have a great touch on the guitar.
Good collaborative energy.
