What if Bo Peep were a bit of a b*tch? If I knew her when she was like that, I might write a song like this.
(c) 2012 T.A.Beckett
Hey, Bo.
Where did they all go?
Hey Bo.
What do you know?
Maybe I could help you
In your quest.
Maybe I could…
The lyrics for this song were inscribed on the headstone when the legendary character Tom Thumb died. Inge did the vocals for this song and did a wonderful job. The harmonies, along with the a capella intro and coda, are hers, and take the song…

I fell in love with Miss Muffet. This may not be my best vocal effort, but it's all I can do with it. I'd be happy to let someone else try it. Any volunteers from the studio audience?

Let me help you.
Let me calm…
Guess where this story came from?
(c) 2012 T.A.Beckett
I really don't like your grandmother.
Those teeth, that nose
And that nasty disposition.
Keeps givin' me that hungry eye
And that awkward proposition.
"Come closer, much closer…
Time for a little humor. I had my wisdom teeth pulled last year, and the pain was debilitating. When I got the right pain meds, I felt so much better that I wrote this song. Colin added his considerable vocal talents and his harmonica and brought…

This was written at a time when things weren't going so well for me. This will be my last upload until after the RPM Challenge.

The shirt is frayed at the elbows.
The shoes are dull, lost their sheen…

A song about making choices.
Life moves in small steps
By the choices we all make.
We decide by will and pride
The path we'd like to take.
And the places we end up
And the people we will know
We'll see, you and me
By where we choose…

This is an answer to the question posed to me by Bethan Mathis. This is how I've been feeling this week. I'm okay. I've just come to the realization about the rhythm of life.

Upbeat groove with a bittersweet message! Interesting juxtaposition - good to hear something new for you. Looking forward to your RPM project next year.

Written by Tangmo. Additional instruments by Trevitte Brown.
A song about writing songs that isn't really about song-writing, and knows it is being written.
Written and sung by Tangmo. Arranged and performed by Phil Close. Additional guitars by Karl Cutruff.
Hey everybody, come out in the streets now
Hey everybody, let's have a good time
Bring along your cooler, there's good food to eat now…
I was listening to Leonard Cohen a lot this winter, and these lyrics sort of came out from there...don't know what they really mean, i was more interested in trying to see if I could mimic Leonard's style, which of course I can't, but this was…
En Francais.
English lyric:
I don't know why there is not another girl for me here
Or near here,
But over there are plenty of girls for him
What a shame - what a shame
Every day I watch the men and boys with girls on the beach…
A song about the five stages of grieving, as devised by the (late) Elizabeth Kubler-Ross. Unfortunately knowing these stages does not help you get over them.
You've been managing expectations
Consultations end in tears
Even if you're optimistic…
Bit of a waltz.
Everything I know about dancing I learned from watching.
This is my piano debut.
Bethan deserves some of the blame for this one somehow. Thanks.
We have an old and senile cat with a dodgy thyroid gland who is a total pain in the bum. I know she can't help it but god she annoys me, so this song is therapy. It's a love/hate thing. Recorded as part of RPM 2010
I have a cat that loves to sit on my lap every time I sit down at my PC. I can't find the right lyrics to write about her, but I'm sure I'll find the inspiration after hearing this song. Laughed when I heard it.

this is one i have to stop tweaking - six versions and i still don't get what i hear in my head
would love some crit for this one as it's doing my head in
thanks
I stopped by to listen to this year's album, and again I am green with envy. I wish I could play anywhere near as well. Great guitar work, sir. A pleasure to listen to.

This one is about how falling in love kind of involves giving up any say in whether or not your heart gets trampled. It's about that fear. Gary doing a sterling job as usual on lead guitar..
She's amazing
Beauty holds no bounds
and her voice…
Stopped by to listen to this year's effort. Liked most of what I heard. I agree that falling in love involves fear, risk, and not a little anxiety. I know those emotions well.

I mostly wanted to make music with a funky clav line I'd come up with, so this is it. For the voiceover, I unabashedly used an awesome monologue by Ken Nordine.
Just stopped by to listen to your 2010 album. I liked a number of the songs, including the K Beam, and loved the Sho Be Do. You're never too old to sing, by the way. Well done.

Allelujiah-This was supposed to be a completely different song, but this one just wrote itself instead. It’s almost all first take, except for the bass, which took a while to get straight so that it wouldn’t overwhelm the song. It has this tone…
Hey Gary - I listened to your album on the RPM jukebox, and this is my favorite so far. I'll probably change my mind later, but I like the harmonies you did, and I find myself singing the chorous at random times. Well done, sir. I liked all the songs and I'll be loading them into my MP player once I finish downloading.
Regards.

Hey old friend! Glad you liked my work from this year's challenge. This song in particular has been my favorite of this album. It captures the essence of how rediculous it is for Kylie to have her own museum. I also like The Dogs Name. I wonder if my better half thinks of me in those terms once in awhile. Oh, wait, we have cats.
Welcome to the site and I'll stop by from time to time for a listen.
Regards.

Good One!
This really caught my attention. It's different and very interesting.
this is really good.
So, tell aunty Bee, how long have you been harbouring feelings for Little Miss Muffet, exactly? Very sweetly done Terry.
You are AMAZING! I love your voice. I love the irony in your songs, I love everything! You are GREAT!!!!
Hahaha ... nice!!
Love the music to this one Terry. Lovely Vocal Inge.
"All the better to hear you with, my dear!" She's trying to stop you being the wolf!
Sounding great!
Nice work...
Ha, that's what I did Terry. I was singing along to JM when I first heard his song.
Hellish funky backing here! Proper shoulder twitcher Terry.
Aw, am glad you wrote this in the past and things are happier now.
Nice job....
Yea ... at first this seems like a standard rock song ... but after listening to the words ... its good-old preaching time! ... nice
Optomistic song here Terry! Your backing music is rockingly good! Merry Christmas
Digging the raunchy backing music! Happy song for the holidays, ER!
Polished track E.R. Good to hear something new from you. I dig the cool guitar wah-wah break.

A parent grows into his role just as a child grows up. Funny how it works that way, isn't it? Nice song about it. ER
Another enjoyable tune. I've written a song about writing a song, too. Who hasn't? Liked this one. ER
Nice tender love song. Well done. ER
