A reverse take (recorded live at a gig) of a couple of Pink Floyd covers. The amazing Bill Pohl on 2nd guitar. It came out sounding strangely symphonic.
Brilliant. Also serves as a reminder that we shouldn't forget about the "old school" techniques in favour of all the blinkenlights we now have at our disposal.

I love this.
It puts me in mind of an experiment I was thinking about to alternately record & reverse parts so you end up with an interlocking series of forward and reverse sounds. Probably turn into sonic mush but could be kind of fun.
Thanks for the inspiration!

@ Sister: Due to technical issues I would have to post the entire song file, which would be posting cover tunes, which I don't want to do here...trust me, the reversed, edited versions sound better!

Well I been playing the blues for so long

I dig the random instrumentation.
Play this in eight over three and a half
I been playing the blues for so long, make me feel like tryna rap x 2

Growing up is hard.
For everyone.
I once had a Facebook Friend named Shannon Elizabeth Hardwick. A poet, from Midland, Texas, doing advanced studies at Sarah Lawrence. She was so good she could write a hundred pages about how she couldn…
Features Gary Essex on slide guitar and is but an instrumental of the full song that is Blues Blues - please check it out and love it as though it were your own...
Please note that this particular version is dedicated to the wonderfully talented…
Very, very raw demo for our 09 RPM disc. Drums are a click track & unmixed; needs one more guitar track, eq, channel compression, an honest-to-god mix, etc...
This is the first tune for my RPM Challenge.
Recorded: Feb 01, 2009
Details: Epiphone Les Paul (EBEGAD - capo II), Seymour Duncan Pickups, POD XT, Boss RC-20 Looper, EBow, Audacity, Sound Forge.

This my first time…
Yo Bro
"Yo Bro" utilizes a simple riff as a starting point for a delightful jazz excursion, powered by Laing's on-the-money percussion.

As you say Kavin, strangely symphonic, but really cool!
Can we hear the forward take?
Nice one mate this is good.
Your delivery on this is amazing, Kavin.
beautiful melancholy piece
Nice. Like the way it changes up in the middle... a lot.
lovely contrast between the pace of the guitar and the laid back vocal. Great! Reminds me of Nick Drake in lots of ways.
Wonderful sentiments, great guitar, very nice Kavin.
Totally agree with Kirk - great guitar on this! Wonderful chord choices!
Wow- great guitar sounds and love the chord progression
holy crap you can play. brilliant
Great lyrics and vocal, love the guitar playing too.
Woot! Great vocal/geetah combo!
Oh Man!!! Super Duper. I dig Christmas songs.
I've heard many guitar players in my 1/2 century on this planet and you rival them all. Very respectable.
Put this one on 9 or so, and I cleared out some ear wax ;) Jammin'.

This is crazy good. I want to describe it as "angular melody". Does that make sense?
This, and Setting Sun, are favorites from yer album. Neat effect on that guitar.
Really like these solo guitar/voice tunes. It's hard to make that style compelling, but with your songwriting, you pulled it off!
Great songs. Great harmonies. Kind of Beach Boys meets Roger Waters.
I think this is my fave from your album. But then I'm a sucker for a good blues tune.
This one, and Feelings, are my favorites, good job Rick.
That's really great. Love the chord choices, harmonica, vocal, well..everything!
These lovely guitar soundscapes just keep coming. Great RPM album!

I really like this instrumental version alot!
That's trippy cool.
Good to see you here! THanks for sharing the album. After the RPM dust settles I may have to spring for the hard copy.
Excellent. Glad you got yer platform up!
I'm really diggin these fingerstyle pieces.
Lovely vocal treatment. Just a tad long.
Yeah, that bum note was buggin me too.. ; -)
Yep. All sounds are guitar. Filtered thru ebow and Line6 DL4 pedal. Thanks Kirk!
Wow, very Guaraldi, nice!
