Noodling with the "art guitar" in DADGAD tuning in the Serra sculpture Vortex at the FW MOMA. No fx added, all natural reverb/delay inside the structure.
What with all the great Zep covers posted by Tworegs and Chris Vaisvil, here's mine, I enlisted the vocal of the man himself, thanks Reg! Also note my new fretless strat as second guitar here.
Kavin that was beautiful. Lovely words and lovely voice, you don't need to let me do all the sangin' in the duo dude, sweeter pipes than me. Anyhow happy to daughter Brit and congrats to you and your miss'es (can't spell) on 17 years of bringing one up.

MrMudd&MrGold is a duo project with my friend from Brooklyn, Jim Goodin. Inspired by our common interest for acoustic improv and love for the music of Townes VanZandt and Steve Earle.
Jim covers a Steve Earle song, I added some slide reso.
Some people measure things by inches and miles,
gallons and quarts and sometimes smiles, but I got a measure that I made up: I measure my orange juice by the "blub, blub, blub.".
Final version of this tune - voice and guitar, banjoe accompaniment
i'm still getting used to this new mic and finding my voice sounds different with or i'm singing differently because of it. So .. feedback appreciated, and if you like it…
I've noticed the Yeti has a lot of midrange, so I've been adjusting eq for that, like GN said. It's actually perfect for this style, type of song, sounds like an old 78, without the cracks and pops.
~Through the night, and darkness, we rush forward to the tops of the universe. What for we're?~
The original version of this song was composed, written and mixed on board of the night train to Berlin, in 2004. Here is an updated version number…
This is a song about finding momentary escape from the pain of loss.. and having it interrupted by the realisation that it's the anniversary of the day it all started;
Some days I get up
and I go to the park
and I sit in the dark
and I think…
This track is from the 1986 Scartaglen album "The Middle Path". The first tune "Jezaig" was composed by Breton musician Gilles Le Bigot. The second tune is one of the "Cantigas de Santa Maria" and is attributed to King Alfonso X of Spain

yeah when I first hear CV's tune I thought some Howlin Wolf or Tom Waits would work well over it, I just don't have the voice for it. Your version takes more of a Dr. John vocal tonality, which I like!
@captgene: I just changed strings with the Elixir Resonator pack, which uses heavier gauge, but busted the G right off the bat, not impressed but pretty good tone on the remaining 5. Some sliders have told me they don't care for the tone of coated strings. I should prob. start a thread in the forum for this..
THE INAPPROPRIATE QUESTION - Capo @ 2 to sing
G C/G bass
She said, “I can see that you’re hurting,
And I can see that you are wearing a ring.
Perhaps an inappropriate question,
but I’d like to ask you something.
Soon I will be a grand…

Thanks for your comments on Frozen Roads. Dang, I don't even remember recording that thing! Uploaded 5 years ago...wow :)
GREAT JOB! The slide guitar RULES in this cover. Dig! Some bass would have been a nice addition, otherwise, superb work! Rock on!
Superb version of this. Well done guys. Love it.
Awesome! I love your fretless work!
One of my fav Zep tracks, nicely covered Reg & Kavin-acoustic-style. Well, there's some electric in there, but who's quibbling? Not I.
Where was I? w;-0
Listening while driving to work, love the tune
Nice one guys!
..slithers like a snake on acid..
Kick ass......right on.
hey ! this is great , kavin !
This is wonderful Kav! w;-)
Oh Jim, that's really heart wrenching. Just the music gives the lonely atmoshphere, let alone the vocal too. Nice one guys! Sobbing, Bee!
There is still the Tex Mex. But you need, Kavin, James Michael, Robert and Kelly to make a party. Oops and Bee x

Very nice. I'd like to borrow your orchestra!
Simply great! Thanks for sharing.

Good one, JMT.
Just heard this over on the RPM site. Badass harp, slide gtr and song!
I don't know what these chants are or where from, but I'm loving it.
I just realized, at about the one minute mark, you can just hear my bud Charlie tinkling on a toy piano offstage.
