Maybe I missed a career scoring for no budget spaghetti westerns, because this is what this reminds me of. Done live a couple weeks ago with the Taylor and a floor full of toys and loopers.
Another Live performance with former band mates in Scartaglen back in 1988 on the NPR show Mountain Stage. This time a piece of Gaelic mouth music followed by 3 reels. Maybe the most complex arrangement of a set of tunes that we ever did.

from Vaisvil - re; nylon 6 string - I've had really good luck with my local guitar center with used equipment. Re: 19 edo - many people consider 19 notes per octave to be the next logical step since you can still play 12 equal music (with sweeter chords) and also play stuff you can't play in 12 equal. However, if any alternate tuning has been embraced by academia it has been 24 notes per octave (quartertones) which is a much harder beast to tame though really good composers have pulled it off.

A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009
Do you know who Gregor Hilden is? These jams reminded me of him, except his work is more blues oriented. I'll include a link to his channel in a private message. great stuff!

Another cut from the 1988 cassette tape of a live performance by Scartaglen on the NPR show Mountain stage. This time some tunes from County Kerry.

Rough sketch of a proposed dreamy 12 string piece that I couldn't pull off on the 12 string so did this quick electric version with vocal pads. Not sure of the recording quality- sounds OK in my cans and kinda crappy on my monitors. Recorded march…

Great! You know, I first heard Clannad listening to the U2 Red Rocks concert on Showtime (My folks didn't actually subscribe to Showtime, so the picture was scrambled - but the audio was clear!). They had such lovely atmospherics, they grabbed my attention right away, even though I didn't understand a word. To my delight, in going through the back catalog, I was exposed to their acoustic, traditional music - the kind of music you played. It's a joy to hear your performances! Aloha!

Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
My first attempt at a Blumlein or Mid/Side recording. This one is actually a mid/side recording as I used a directional mic in combo with a figure 8 ribbon mic set at 90 degrees from the main mic. Thanks to Pat Broaders for the loan of the ribbon…

Another one recorded "live on the fly", so the sound quality isn't great. Also some tonal support from SonicMood program.
Pileus is a cap-like structure, like on a cloud or mushroom.
This song always puts you in a weird mood...forcibly sways your emotional state. There’s some kind of weird juju laced in that song that screws with your emotions no matter how you're feeling.

I'm learning to 'listen' to the 'flow' of life all around me and not get so caught up in little things that don't really matter.
Learning to enjoy! Life is good...
