I'm a complete idiot when it comes to all things midi related. Recently got myself a midi keyboard though and came up with this short piece just messing with sounds in Proteus. Really looking forward to the possibilities of combining this sort…

Mining the archives a bit. This is an alternate take of my "Jimi Jam" from a couple of years ago. Live to 2 tracks with the Jamman. Really only sounds OK when cranked up loud enough that your eardrums threaten to meet in the middle. LOL!!

Fun, I love messing around like this myself. MIDI is a different kind of musical power and, combined with your talents for playing with real instruments... well I look forward to the mayhem to come :)

From the archives. Traditional Irish slow air. Myself on the Uilleann pipes with synth backing. This was recorded at a concert here in Weston back in I think '92. Originally recorded on an ancient 4 track machine and then transferred to cassette…
the first multi track piece that I actually finished "in the box" in Cubase. An ambient kinda thing that grew out of playing around with the Line 6 DL4. Not sure I like the bow parts, but I may re do it later
...'not sure I'd heard this'n. Very nice, man.
Where are you[?]; perhaps we could colab someday.
(Also- Thanks for listening and for your comments!)
Best- Kevin
Straight ahead stone city electric blues for an old friend who used to spend hours spinning BB King and Mike Bloomfield records for me. Recorded back sometime at the end of 2006 on old analog equipment

Similar in feel to the other Fragile Moment track. Mostly acoustic guitars recorded sitting in my shop on the H4N and then finished up in Cubase just this morning. September 9 09. Maybe a nice one for bedtime
Found a interesting sounding indian instrument via the computer world and strummed out chords on my lil midi guitar. Added some percussion, strings and a flute.
A dark ambient requiem for a soul in the process of shattering. Inspired by Ingmar Bergman's similarly titled movie where the female protagonist suffers from schizophrenia.
Another song I worked on for Bethan Mathis. She had come up with this funny song, and asked for some music to go along with it. I got a bit carried away, but I think it all works. Since Bethan has recently removed her account, she gave me permission…
Don't cut my roots of at the heel,
Cause I'm attached to you and your bark.
Sand is just giant stones, I've worn down,
Mountains torn apart.
Follow me, Follow me, Follow me
Follow me, Follow me, Follow me
What is there in emptiness,
If…
woke up from a bad sleep because there was a mosquito in my room driving me crazy ... I had no words to this tune and just spontaneously put down what ever came into my head and sang it .
Composed, arranged & mixed by Steffen Offermann

Floppy old mix. Another candidate for remixing or (at least) re-mastering. I'll probably do the latter soon.
This is a synthesizer instrumental…
This is a collab tune which was originally written by Tad Rees (aka Solo). He plays the Keyboard.synth, and I did the guitar and drums. The last half blends with his original which can be heard in completion at :

it is a winter blanket of snow. it smothers life. it attempts to silence all sound. however, small ghosts of music escape. they always find each other. every winter they dance together. they are the notes of christmas past. 0x0
