a little moon music

last eve there was a beautiful moon
dancing in a blue black sky
outside my piano room, it called to me

this tune is a one take playful moment, loosely based on the main theme from the 2nd mov of my piano sonata,,, i only toned down about 6 notes,, sometimes hitting a key very hard sounds good on the keyboard but not so in the midi file,,

i am also working on an instrumental version of this, or should anyone else want to play with this that would be very fine….

take care,, and remember to go outside at night an look uppppppppppppp!

The drums on the Coffee with a little sugar song are all Norm. I took one of his drum beats and added some bass and guitar. All of my other songs are done with synth, using good real/digital/ samples and the program fruity loops.

Hey Richard - for Rumba - the guitar tunings are standard so if you want to play along on your piano it should work. If I remember correctly Brian laid down a basic I-IV-V in D major. I put 7th chords on top of that.

Oh, you've done her proud...this is beautiful, twinkly, dark, mysterious, tender, evocative! (Suspect you might actually be crazily talented.)

Moons and pianos, man, hard to beat that. Beautiful. Very well done, Richard. I can close my eyes and see the moon. Someday I must get a piano...

Had to download, there will be a bright moon on the lake tonight - and this one will be perfect for the dance of the moonpath on the water

I always like stuff that just comes on from the heart based on temporal environmental influences!
