So to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of your voice itself... but I've been listening to all of your songs and you've definitely got a great way with composing and writing melodies! About 5 minutes after listening to this song I found myself humming the chorus melody while walking down the hall.

There are two main reasons you still hear 70's music on the radio. 1) the copyright has run out and the station doesn't have to pay royalties any more, and 2) the music is better than everything else out there. Your music falls into the second category. ER

I used to drive a slant 6. Dodge Coronet 440 made in 1967. Slow and heavy and 12 miles to the gallon. Good thing I was in high school at the time. I was just glad to have wheels. Nice blues here. Love the voice box/bag guitar work and the harmonica. ER

Fathers often find ways of giving a part of themselves to their sons, and they do so in ways that can be baffling to the sons. Perhaps your father was doing that. My dad was an engineer and a private pilot. He never told me a bedtime story, but he took my brother and me flying as often as he could. It was his way of showing his love. Nice song, too. ER
