Okay Andrew R. , this ones for you bud. Had a little fun with it in the intro. That was the surprise.
I put the bass line down and arranged the drums Saturday morning and returned later that night about 10:00 pm . I worked until 2 am and laid…
Having more fun with Hendrix. I tried to stay true to the original as far as using no overdubs. Just one guitar, bass, drum and vocal track. Kind of used a mix approach and used a bit from the record and a bit from his live performance in Winterland…
Okay , this may be my last Hendrix cover for awhile. I have been itching to record a few new original songs that are waiting in the wings. These covers were fun to do and I discovered alot about the songs I didnt no before. On this one I added…
billy boy where did you go
sittin in a pile of snow
come on down its gettin cold
for the time is getting old
well we made our way to the old wigwam
frozen lake and wind was calm
standing bow did strike a deer
to feed the tribe…
This is a bonus track of sorts for the mock EP It takes a village. I had the verse chord chages around for many years but just until last week the song and lyrics came together really quickly. I thought I heard a band arrangement originally but…

Found a interesting sounding indian instrument via the computer world and strummed out chords on my lil midi guitar. Added some percussion, strings and a flute.

Finally, at last... I've got something finished...
Been working on this for a few weeks.
A bit of a rocker... (and an aging lecherous one at that)
I got it as close as I could and then mixed it loud... I've over-cooked it slightly - but…
Originally by Freddie King, I did the John Mayall (Eric Clapton) version since the March 2014 issue of Guitar World mag has a good transcription of it. Looking back now I wish my lead tone wouldn't have been quite so harsh in places.
Just an instrumental I came up with on the 7-string. Wanted to try a few harmonized licks. Guitars and bass are me but the drums aren't (as with all my stuff).
I did this as a way to practice singing....why I am trying to learn to sing at 64 is a little strange.... I wish I had leaned to sing when I was starting out..but I always played in band with lots of singers and never had to sing much…
Some time ago whilst YouTubing, I stumbled across several videos of old seafaring songs or sea "shanties". Unbelievably, that triggered some very ancient RAM of elementary school music classes wherein we were taught several of these songs. And…

She put a message up on Facebook
She'd wrecked her car and couldn't get to work
I watched to see if any of her friends would volunteer
They just wished her well
There'd been a storm.
The streets were frozen
Cobblestone ice on…
I'm doing just Fine with Buck Erpestad. Check out Bucks music here:

Here is what Buck said he added:
"So I used the tremolophone (vibes) and tuba sounds in Garageband and played them on the keyboard."

..excellent version, James..
..not sure that we have the full story on HAARP as yet..
..just keep playing this on a loop as I lay in the isolation tank. Mind-slave madness! How ya doin', James?
Really great song. I like the melodic progression. Well written. I'd like to hear more like it!
Wonderful. Adding more instruments can't make this any better. It's perfect as it stands.
Wow!
Second bite at this super tune, Nice James

love the free form feel.
Solid Blues Track...always love the harp in there.
Slaying it!
hauntingly incredible.
cool version....:)
ack with a vengance! Has the AC/DC vibe and a bit of the Bon Scott in the vox. Nice gritty guitar riff and solo. Bad Ass tune.
Wonderful....?
Another fine one GC. A nice tune to warm things up around your neck of the woods.
Dig it....I spent many hours copping licks off that bluesbreakers album...nice choice played with your touch. Did not sound harsh at all.
You a monster shredder.....this has Shrapnel stank all over it!
Kooh....this is sweet..nice textures over that riff...nice modal soloing.
That's was perfect....love the vintage vocal effect....guitars primo across the board.
Man....just love the combo of banjo and acoustic....perfect marriage...great vocals and love the story. Pro stuff RP.
Always like the way you approach your vocals.....this has the British blues all over it.
Cool lil quirky track but sentimental at the same time..
Always uplifting to listen to your music.
Nice...like how your vocal sits right in there.
Smashing..dig that aggressive tone of the guitar and bass together..
