Good grief! I didn't realize until today that I had plagiarized the name of this song for one of my percussion tracks. Please accept my apologies. I named my track that because my studio was inundated with the little buggers during my recording session… I hadn’t heard your wonderful piece before. (How embarrassing!) Here in western Virginia, we have never seen anything like it before this year: they get into everything.
Great string work!
This is a remastered version of DJam, uploaded previously, with Darrin Kobetich on mandolin. Look him up on myspace, he's an incredible guitarist! I am playing a National Estralita resonator tuned to double drop-D.
Sort of more like a marmalade than a jam.......and I bet that does not make any sense over in the US of A cos' you do not have jam but jelly and do you even have marmalade at all ?
What a way to norse up a comment......oh alright it's bloody good.

Love it! I may need to start grabbing some of Norm's outstanding percussion tracks and lay down some guitar... Although it will never be as smooth as this one by Kavin!

We forgot to mention that Reg visited Norm's place a little later and added some vocals. The video is a ride through the US state of Virginia. The Texas Tavern serves cheesy westerns (cheese, fried egg, burger, bun) in the downtown of Roanoke Va.

I have tried to capture that "stabbing"feeling that comes when someone says, "You were really pissed last night! Do you remember what you did?" And of course you don't remember! So you don't know whether you were a dickhead, or an arsehole or…

Other layers may or may not be in the works, but I thought I'd let everyone have a listen so far.

This started with a couple of samples in a new version of Boite Diabolique where the samplers slide over them at different rates and varying granular density. I recorded some of that as I varied the rates and then brought the recording into Live…

Now this I like, I like very much, Great jam, sounds so very good.
Nice bluesy chord progression. Norm adds the percussive funk. I Dig the bass line too.
Yeah, that's what I like! Fantastic!
Great track guys. Norm, you are Mr.Percussion, and Kavin you made that sing!
Great job Kavin very cool.
Very cool!
Love hearing another take on Norm's cabinets. They are filled with cool notes!
Thanks for loading my cabinets up with such tasty awesomeness!
Cool! I've had this Norm track sitting on my desktop for a month and have yet to come up with anything this groovy with it. Great jam man!
Always a big compliment to get a smiley from Mac! :)

Haha, beat me to it...although...I wasn't planning to play awesome guitar on it. Groovy!

My...how did you get Crosby/Nash to sing bg vocals? Brighter days, JMT.
I usually go to iHop for a cheesy western, but I bet they're better at Texas Tavern.
Ok sorry. Some criticism. Too short and needs a better title.
Happiness is waking up to new tracks by Geas and MTC. Send me some of that water yawl are drinking.
Good luck with that bro. This rocks.
Great great video and song. Looks like Va. could use some rain too. Where is the Texas Tavern shown at the end?
Very pleasant. Feel good electronica.
Sounds great sans vocals. Heard of Popol Vuh?
Aaah. Dreaming of the finned beauties..
Refreshing, a rush!
Dark. Disturbing. As it should be. This was the anniversary recently wasn't it?
Nice one KL, made me feel good which I needed.

Reminds me of my days working in the Denebian trilithium mines.

hard to believe you have no more than 20 listens on any of your tunes.
dreamy. great. But now I have that blasted earworm.
The Cline brothers, really? Would love to hear more about that someday. Nels seems a bit subdued, but still great.
I like the treatments on the horn. The rhythm brothers are spot on, as usual.
