This track started with an accident.
I started building a pattern in Elysium. When I was happy with that, I recorded a bunch of it with Live. I loop recorded with quantization. When the thing looped around, I realized that Elysium was still…
A 30 minute track (creation time).
Went for dinner with friends that were having trouble getting along.
They were in my thoughts whilst I put this together.
It starts out with trashcan drumming.. makes me want to move! Then it evolves with all the rhythmic synth layers... I likey.. If you are passively looking for input, I'd recommend thinking about how to utilize more negative space to emphasize that trash can rhythm at parts...I think you do this in a different way.. in sections rather than throughout the track.. and well, my recommendation comes with a big fat disclaimer... I tend to want to hear the wall of sound layers deferring to tribal beats :-) , Maybe gate or cut out parts of those polyrhythms on certain beats. I like the grinding end too.
A little study using Dmin6 and Dmin7 with a little D dorian dressing.

When you do this kind of track it evokes a feeling of travelling without moving.
It reminds me of being a passenger in a car on a motorway at night, slightly tired and letting the world glide, carelessly, past me.
I've always liked that feeling.

Sometimes magic happens. Sometimes it even happens to me.
Open D tuning (low to high D A D G A D). Just a practice session where I had the guts to press record.
No drugs. Just beer with dinner. Maybe they put something in the creme brule…
Started off with me just goofing around with Battery and a couple of other NI things (which are new to me) and grew into this...
It may still have places to go.
This is the accoustic version of fat tragedy. I guess it is a guitar solo. Thinking itself through, but not really anticipating what itself is going to do.

This is a special request by Sister.
It's kinda sloppy. Frankly, because I suck at it :)
I'm not much of a cover musician but I gave it hell.
It's mostly analog. MIDI drums, DB33 organ patch,
strat leads, and Ibanez chords, Dean bass…

I'm not sure where I'm going - its late - I'm tired so I may be out of my mind.

I thought it might be interesting to post the source material I used in the track [IX](http://alonetone.com/sandbags/tracks/ix-2). This is the file generated by my TMA-2 instrument that I processed to make IX.

Another in my series of evolving sonic noise experiments.
The source for this piece was a recording from my latest Reaktor instrument [TMA-2](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyEEW-tCNL4) with a sample map constructed from [Richard Devines](http…
Well done. I don't really have any suggestions about structure except to say don't get too hung up on it :-)
I kind of think that the way this ebbs and flows is all the structure it needs.
title is self-explanatory, past tense however.
i really wanted a song that had the flow, emotional intensity and unpredictability of an ocean. perhaps that's a bit cliche.
done over the period of two months in a little dark room with an…

Another slice of Reaktor based weirdness from the particle collider ensemble I am tentatively naming TMA-2.
You can't tell from how it sounds I guess but the latest development is that particle energy now governs velocity, i.e. more energetic…
I made this track back in nineties with sort of tongue in cheek -mentality. I accidentally found it and it still sounded so fresh that i decided to upload it.
