HEAR MY FINAL SONG

Two were dancin', one he played guitar
He was singin' how she broke his heart
Some were smokin', smoke rings filled the air
One was flirtin', playin' with her hair

Sad and sweet memories, Gene Eric Mann's last song.

My idea for the song was, what if life was a bar, and all 7.5 billion earthlings were group into just a handful of characters that could fit into a bar – what is everyone doing? What are they thinking?

SOLANA (Sunshine)
Sunshine, you are the morning.
Solana, you bring the light.
I am the evening. I am the darkness.
Whoa, you know, I bring the night.
But in the dusk and in the dawn, we make it right. We make it right.
Sunshine…

Gene Eric, thank you deeply for your most kind comment on my song Psychomantium...personally I can't hear the vocals on that song very well, as I am a Gulf War veteran with only about 15% hearing...I want to remix it. Thank you, I hope you'll friend me on facebook.
One of my better Psych Folk recordings. Intro voice and keyboards by Starry Nightmoth. BG rhythm/drums generated using a Yamaha E313 KB. Lyrics, music and all other instruments and vocals are my fault.

I feel like you're still listening now.
Many thanks x

This demo recording turned out particularly well, especially when compared to how most of my MYTHOPOETICA recordings sound. The lead guitar employs an Eastern Folk scale and style of picking, greased with GEM-style Blues butter.
SUPER YOU…

One of my personal favorite recordings from the 52 song MYTHOPOETICA demo collection, even though there’s a sound quality issue (the bass had a bit of a buzz). This was my first time using a wammy bar – I liked it!

I'm digging the far out oriental scale, the Asian rhythm and the selection of instruments. Tribal and hypnotic and comforting. You're not stuck to one genre -- that is so refreshing. I dig broadness in music and an expansive mind!
A excellent, fabulous composition and mix down of sweet sounds. Tasteful panning and volume control. Mastering is at least half the art of a fine recording.
Dig the build-up. From a simple classic, laid-back folk sound, "Gone" expanded and evolved into something more sophisticated, colorful, and flavorful. Great compilation -- Rock on!
When my 'whole morning for recording' turned into 30 minutes, I did this. Beep beep;
Driving all over the fucking road.

I believe half of the drivers in the world have been caught in traffic behind Rita and can relate and appreciate this song. The other half of drivers are Rita! I enjoyed this. Rock on!
Oh what groovy, appropriate music! Great lyrics. Delightful vocals. What a wonderful job, and a story told so well, so fully, so... so... futuristic? Is that the word I'm looking for? I'm blown away! Thank you, Colleen!

A song with a long story (born in 1995, go figure!). Perceivable influences: Doors, Notting Hillbillies, Animals... Such long making combines, I think, my serious melancholy of those old days + a few thousands of hours of practice and 'stay cool…

The more you got, the more you got to lose

I said it. There, I said it
It might…

I dig your style, your timing, your taste and feel for what you do.
Dark, yet tasty, like chocolate. And its brevity would make it perfect for a Gothic TV show's theme song.
Funkilicious! Great groove. Slick and smooth.

Bwahaha! Love it. Cool drums. The banjo at the end seals it. Thank you! Keep it real and to the point!

Gonzo Rock? Fear and Loathing in Rock? Anyway, beautiful. You're a mean, righteous guitarist! Great job -- fabulous talent -- ROCK ON!
My favorite genre -- guitar-driven blues. You got a great handle on it. Delicious! Rock on!
I like the guitar a lot!
GORGEOUS! Truly beautiful, touching, moving, sweet. Delicious music for nourishing the soul.
Ha ha ha ha ha! "Boobs and butt and legs and all" -- Rock on! Great music, Ron! Thanks so much for participating!
Pleasant and delightful.
I LIKE THE LYRICS, VOCALS, MELODY, LEAD GUITAR, KEYBOARDS, DRUMS, EVERYTHING!
FABULOUS! There is so much I love about this song; the beat, the lead guitar, the damn truth about Ted Cruz and that fact that you said it. ROCK ON!
I keep trying to think what to comment, but all that comes to mind is BWAHAHA! :D
I enjoyed your guitar and voice. A nice, sweet performance. You did a great job keeping it even, volume-wise, and steady, tempo-wise.
