Gramma's Shampoo
Gramma's shampoo is washing my hair
And I hope it will notice that gramma's not there
It's the kind that knows just what to do
Says it right there on the bottle, shampoo
"Automatically adjusts to your hair's cleansing needs…
ACID TEARS
As the hours turn into days and the weeks turn into years
I am happy, but I'm always close to tears
Surely as the love that we share will last forever
Our bodies will die and our love will go on
And tho the thot that love will…
I have a video called THE BROKE PIANO on line at

I dwell in Possibility--
A fairer House than Prose--
More numerous of Windows--
Superior--for Doors--
Of Chambers as the Cedars--
Impregnable of Eye--
And for an Everlasting Roof
The Gambrels of the Sky--
Of Visitors--the fairest--
For Occupation--This--
The spreading wide my narrow Hands
To gather Paradise--
Emily Dickinson, "I dwell in possibility" (#657)
The last time I saw Grandpa was fifty years ago
Palmdale, California. I was 4 years old
He was stooped and withered. A worn-out little man.
I remember him the best I can
I swear I just saw Grandpa in Daddy's barn just now
Out beyond the…
HOEDOWN
Hey now. Hoe now. Hey now. Hoe now.
Chop that cotton. row now. Oh. Oh.
...two, three, four. Hoe now. Hey now.
What you got to say, now? Tell me what you
said. What’s in your pretty head now.
Swing your partner. Oh. Allemande right…
Peggy taught me an Eagles song toward the end off our life together. I think it was NEW BOY IN TOWN. (I had no idea what she was telling me.) I took the chord progression from that song and wrote this. Peggy said that was cheating.

it's been a while since I've listen to your stuff....don't know why...because its all good as far as I can tell and this is another point in case a great story told witha wonderful voice
GROWL
In the middle of the night my stomachs growling’
The windows rattle and the coyotes howling’
Tip toe to the pantry to do a little prowling’
The cupboard’s empty and the well’s run dry
Not enough water to tear my eye
In the middle…
CHRISTMAS IN MY HEART
Dear Mom and Dad,
I know you worry.
I know you're tired.
But I know you are thinking of me.
Your letters keep me inspired.
When the time comes and I can't leave,
Sand in my boots, sours on my feet
I'll stand the heat because…
A CASKET AND A ROSE
capo @ 2 Am
There's nothing quite as slow to grow
Than a cherry laurel tree
A fingerling that grows beneath
That old oak canopy
Presented as a volunteer
On that creek bank south of town
One hundred yards from our…
Another page from my "sketchbook". This is typical. Not much detail. But a real feeling or two emerges. Like a potters perfectly turned shard or the poet's beautiful line that she's never found more words to join with...
It's not unusual to chase your girl around with a dull axe, is it? Just kidding - This was 60 tracks and almost a year to finish. I had some help:
Guitars: Tony W
Fadeout Solo: Gnasty
Acoustic/Rhythm Guitars: Me
Phone Message: Tony W &…
Sam was a very articulate and kind friend; he spend way too much of his life in a wheel chair and yet demonstrated a lot of grace.
We lost him just over a year ago.
Among many other unexpected, Christ-like kindnesses, he realized at one point…
I had some lyrics describing a late nite cake baking experience kicking around. If I have a lot on my mind, dirtying every dish in the house seems like the right thing to do.
I stole some cool percussion from Norm and went to work. I also…
Deadlines, freeways, appointments, things to do lists, expectations, getting older, not enough hours in the day to get everything done? ..... make each day and moment count! Thanks to Dave Matthews for a lick I threw in there. Enjoy!
Several years ago I had a short lived duo with an oboe and English horn player named Nat. This is a demo from that period. It's an old old chord progression of mine that never really had a melody and Nat improvised this melody in the studio to…
This is big open prairie music. Out between Dodge City and Denver. I can see the buffalo grazing and the hawks slowly circling
somewhere between the bent grasses and a wisp of cloud.
Sunday aftnoon (11/09/08) took the reso down to the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum and recorded some doodling inside the Serra sculpture Vortex. No effects added, all natural reverb inside the structure.
It's cool for PLACE to be so "real" in a piece.
Funny I do a piece today called SUNDAY AFTERNOON and you post this with Sunday Afternoon as the first two words.
We must be following the same ChemTrails...
This is the finished version of Trance-Indental. the second half has come out very different to what I thought it would, but I like it. Give it time to build as it progresses.

What a sweet song. I bet your grand daughter loves this.
Love your imagery and harmonies...
Thanks for your comments. I like the way this bulds. Sort of Beatley. Sort of Pink Floyd.
Nice music for a rainy day....
Sounds like a musical rocking chair....or porch swing...has me swaying in my seat.
Sounds like something from Goldfinger...great movie music!
This is pretty wild. Like something from the 007 movies.
So glad you kept it simple...a touching tribute.
Very cool...
Good, chunky guitar sound. Groove.
That good old Beach Boys sound. Cool!
I can see the cows out there by that cactus stand. Nice twangy guitar.
That is a very cool groove. The sort of thing that keeps me going until I have a very cool new song.
