Gorgeous voice... Powerful song.
You've got some good life in these songs. If your intent was subtle Christian you hit it meaning it comes off in a nice way without seeming pushed down the throat.
Raw and interesting, Leonard Cohen like at times in delivery and a nice kind James McMurtry.
Great song with wonderful imagery.
Love the atmosphere. The strings are such a beautiful ground for the singing and banjo. Really pretty song!
Of course you know I like it. but I do so hope others will enjoy our collaboration as well. It's a pretty song, nice lyrics, well sung.
A good job of songwriting. Digging the echo. Tasty!
Re-check your e-mail -- there's yet another mix down of this song, with extra rhythm guitar, lead, bass, and BG vocals. I had fun adding myself to your very cool song. You ROCK. Rock on!
Check your e-mail -- I'm pleased with the results, and I'm sure you will be likewise pleased.
I've downloaded the file and have already removed the floor noise -- no problem. But I also discovered what is called "over peaking" in the file, and I'll fix that as well. I also noted that your file is mono, rather than in stereo. I'm going to fix that too, plus add some reverb. I'll send you the results shortly and I may also take you up on the invite to add tracks to a 2nd mix down of the file. Meanwhile, Keep on Rockin' in the Free World.
I meant to type, " I DIG the guitar and vocals. Nice rhyming! Rock on!" rather that "I DID..." ;)
I think I can remove that "floor noise" (as it's called in the sound editing biz) with my Cool Edit Pro software, if you're interested in that. I did the guitar and vocals. Nice rhyming! Rock on!
Alrighty then! Dig! Rock on!
True lyrics, man -- Rock on!
the GOLDEN RULE was not to be found that night!!!
Gets a yeehaw from me. :) Very cathartic track!
Me too, brother.
I like, I like. Makes me wanna buy one of them cowboy hats and go yeehaw on outlanders!
And about your comment on one of my songs - Chikara; I thought that crediting him was unnecessary since almost everyone has heard or read of that poem. It was rather redundant, or so I felt. Thanks again, sir!
:) very kraftwerk
I dig it. Guitar and voices. Mandolin? Multiple voices. Live recorded maybe? I am envious that you have access to that kind of community locally. Well done.
I've been out of touch. Trying to figure things out. A lot of travel, I got back about a week ago and am still trying to get situated. Hope all is well with you and your people. At some point in the near future I will download all of your stuff to my phone and listen to it as I drive to work. That is all except that you will probably hear from me soon.
Straight up, I think your music is great, always have. You are (as I also do) giving it away for free. At some time in the near future I plan on downloading all of it, putting it on my phone, and listening to it as I drive around. That will happen. Well done, sir.
Unconnected, re: noise reduction on I Lose Control v.2- if you want to, go ahead! I'd like to see what you're able to do. You can email it back to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will put it up and credit you. If you get any ideas while doing that and want to overdub something, feel free to do that as well! Thanks again for listening!
I dig it, this is awesome! There's a lot going on in this song musically, but it all fits! Well done!
Extremely well done, all of it. Beautiful. I plan on listening through most of your music when next I have some down time.
That makes total sense! Again, really good song!
I like this!
Thanks for your comment on my song a while back. I like this song, a a lot. The building of intensity in the first few minutes is really well done. I do have a question. Are you going to credit William Ernest Henly (probably no relation to Don) for your use of his entire poem "Invictus"?
That sir, is beautiful! Also, your cloak of anonymity is blown! Following now!
Thanks again for doing that- the end product is amazing! Re your comments on "The Gift"- no, I haven't touched it since. The song has only been performed live once. It's pretty personal, that's why. It's a good song though. I do have a recording of the one time it's been done since. I don't know, maybe I should give it another shot.
That, sir, is awesome! Sharing now!
I am honored by your offer to remix my song. Please contact me at email@example.com and I will correspond with you directly and get you the raw tracks.
I like it! Awesome music, great great great lyrics! Well done!
Great cover! Awesomely done!
This is badass! Have you ever heard the Violent Femmes song, "Never Tell?" It's a similar song concept, but in terms of musical direction or lyrical style your song is nothing whatsoever like it! This is great!
Wow! I said I'd listen to all your music when I had time, and I finally do! I'm house sitting for a friend who is a recording major... so she has super awesome studio monitors in her kitchen and I'm listening to your stuff over coffee! It's all really good, , solid writing, performances. Very versatile, all different styles of music, vocals- and stellar production values. Well done. My favorite so far is still "Low and Holy." But I also like "Senseless." I'll keep listening, and by the end of the weekend I'll have heard all your stuff! Really enjoy it!
That is awesome!
