A track that I had chalked up as a "throw-away" until a PAL convinced me otherwise. I believe this is an alonetone debut for this one.

made with an electric guitar, a simple looping device, an amp, and automated volume curves in Garageband

Kind of an antagonistic / protagonist song. 3rd person type rendition. This song was inspired by a little of my past history.

Moving from point a to point b, sometimes not as fast as you would like but with rewards at the end. Sometimes the rewards are unknown but still worth it.

Inspired by a couple people. And the general pretentious ideology in general.

Made a little song which ended up being about the veteran German footballer Torsten Frings (holding midfielder, can break forward).
Did it in an accent that started off being a bit Willy Mason, ended up a bit weirdyank.

An improvisation on the resonator, played lap style.

Seeing as how it had Fly in the title I used my riff Fly for free, pay to land. It seems to fit.

So, what's "Fly"? This.
Bass Cajon; tambourine; congas; cymbals.
4/4 180bpm.

A long over due changing of the acoustic strings led to this epic production. 40 tracks and 34 plug-ins. Good Gravy that's a boat load of tracks. All kinds of stuff happening.
Enjoy!

I wrote this one about this guy I worked with in a two man show. Do I feel guilty? Meh.

I wrote this song for the first person I ever fell in love with to tell her that I loved her. I figured that if she didn't feel the same way, it would be less awkward. Win!

This is a microtonal Jazz-ish piece produced with some newly developed techniques.
Norm Harris provides the excellent percussion. I probably could have made it easier on myself by not being so chromatic… but there it is.

well, i really took to both pieces. I decided a mashup should be without permission, otherwise its just aremix. Hope I made something new, Incidentally structure is based on theory heard on alonetone.
Just add 4/4 and go!

This is a 3/16 Bembe on tuned congas, played with mallets. I've arranged it (at the very kind suggestion of Vaisvil & ReefWalker) in a verse/chorus/bridge/capo fashion to get away from a straight pattern - I think this sort of arrangement…

Guess I've been away a while - something a little difference - distinct parts in harmony, perhaps... or just me experimenting ;-)

Not terribly odd except for how I did it with Fretless gutiar.

Something I recorded a couple years ago using a Digitech RP350, drums are from the RP350. Rythm, Lead and Bass were all recorded on a CP60 Strat, bass was an effect on the RP350.

This is a little piece dedicated to the lost world island of Socotra that grabs a lot of instrumentation from across Asia with little discrimination - the melodic instruments use Afshari with the exception of the Jaw harps which use 9-tET Sorog.
