Performed on Fender Mustang, Casio CZ-101 (keys, bass, percussion), vocal. Recorded via overdubbing on two cassette decks with 4 mono input radio shack mixer with radio shack 10 band graphic equalizer. Written in the years of Ronald Reagen’s presidency. The cold war was so inspirational. From the cassette album “If they get up shoot them again”.

I Give No Reason

I give no reason to live
If I’m here that’s as far as it goes
I have no wisdom to give
If you find an answer please let me know

I caught you looking
I can feel you breathing
I caught you thinking
I can feel you breathing
I can feel you breathing

See the clouds hanging over us
As far as I care they can blow us up
And the Russians can move right in
If they don’t mind the glowing dust

I caught you wishing
I can feel you breathing
I caught you dreaming
I can feel you breathing
I can feel you breathing

God this night seems colder than the rest
I turn to you in love and loneliness
I wish there were some flight from this mess

Don’t hear the words I say
They ain’t gonna matter anyway

I caught you wishing
I can feel you breathing
I caught you dreaming
I can feel you breathing
I can feel you breathing
I can feel you breathing

Chris this is great, very catchy and the best vocals and lyrics I've heard from you yet. The Casio sounds great and I can definitely hear a touch of Bryan Ferry. Good stuff! John.
