Evan lies on his back one fine afternoon watching clouds.

This is the first time in nearly seven yrs that I've listened to Evan and Elle again. I actually listened to all of the tracks. I was surprised that I enjoyed them more than ever. I think I was angry (more than I could admit or be aware of, HA) 7 yrs ago I think, in particular, the idea of taking an entire month to create this album was blowing my mind and annoying me (but I think I was VERY well behaved and considerate regardless) especially considering everything else that was happening in our lives. So a funny observation I have is that I thought I was the Evan of your life but obviously I was the Elle since that's the female, and I AM known as some version of elle in other places around the world of the web. And just for fun I'm not making this a private comment so if anyone else reads it they can wonder. I suppose you can make it private. I have NO clue!

Hi, this is great like all the influences (kraftwerk, vangelis, Jarre + Tangerine Dream) without actually sounding like any of them. Fantastic piece!!

@Ed: You're welcome & thank you! @vaisvil: It's an SCI Six Trak. Yamaha CS-series are awesome. I love what Vangelis did with his 70(?). It's all over the Blade Runner soundtrack. Killer stuff.

love the sound of your synth here - reminds me lot of the old CS-10 I once had a very long time ago. http://www.vintagesynth.com/yamaha/cs10.php

Thank you for the comments. I don't often comment here anymore but I do want to answer your Rhodes question. I believe Ben uses a Yamaha Motif. The clarinets are real. I'd love to hear your new age version of Stairway - that would be grand!

@Wrinkled: Thanks. It's all done on one analog synth, the classic SCI Six Trak. Three other tracks on this album were realized in the same manner. :)
