This is the third song in a series, where every day I make a song in the next EDO, incrementally.
So, this one sounds a lot better than the last one; As I now have two mediocre intervals, instead of one bad one. This is the beginning of some actual melodies and harmonies I can do. The name derives from the fact that this EDO is the augmented triad in typical 12edo tuning. Again, there isn’t much to say about this track, but I have some things to say about next track, which will be in 4EDO. 4EDO is the diminished seventh triad, and it also reintroduces the tritone, which means it’s gonna be a lot more dissonant than this track. What I’m really excited for is when we get to 5edo, because with 5edo I can make an actual good-sounding track, instead of whatever the fuck I have been making so far.
