This is the 11th track in my album, Edolian, where I make a song in every EDO from 1 to 31, incrementally.
So, 11edo, the EDO known for being extremely dissonant. The beginning of this song is actually dissonant, with chromatic steps and all of that. I’d rate it about as dissonant as Organized Cacophony, the 2nd song in this album. Then, at the end I kind of force a resolution in a way that sounds kinda natural? In my opinion this song didn’t turn out that bad but it feels a bit forced.
So, the next track is 12EDO, which as you might know, is the scale in standard western music. For that I am planning to just make a concert band arrangement piece. That song will probably be the only song on this channel that is in typical 12EDO, although maybe you could say some of the early songs in this album were in 12EDO as they were subsets of 12.
