Twenty-One_(21EDO)

This is the 21st song in my album, Edolian, where I sequentially make a song in every EDO from 1 to 31.

So, when I began composing this, I didn’t really know what to do. I then went to read the xen.wiki page, and 21EDO can be interpreted as 3 7EDO scales, which I used to some affect in this piece. But I also used some atonal things for the melody. For the harmony, I basically just used 4 minor chords, not much interesting things there. The main thing that makes this song sound better is the drums, as I tried some more interesting drum patterns in this piece (or at least in the latter section of it)

This is the section where I talk about the next song, which happens to be 22EDO. 22EDO, from what I know, contains a good amount of just intervals, and is a relatively good temperament. I don’t know what I’ll do with that, maybe another ambient piece, or maybe not. We’ll see when we get there.
